Virtual Laboratories in Probability and Statistics   The goal of this project is to provide free, high quality, interactive, web-based resources for students and teachers of probability and statistics. Basically, our project consists of an integrated set of components that includes expository text, applets, data sets, biographical sketches, and an object library. We hope to provide data from a wide variety of topics so that statistics teachers can find real-world examples that will be interesting to their students.   9. Statistics and Probability  This website was developed by fifth year students in the Mathematics Education program at the University of Virginia. The University of Virginia offers a five-year dual-degree (BA/MT) teacher education program. At the end of five years students graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and a Master of Teaching degree. The students collaboratively worked together developing this website for their Masters thesis project in the spring semester of 2000.
